Draymond Green destroys 'big softie' Jusuf Nurkic after Suns exit

Jerry Seinfeld once said Jason Alexander's character George Costanza "holds a grudge like Khomeini" on an episode of "Seinfeld." Draymond Green might be the George Costanza of the NBA.

Green did not forget when Jusuf Nurkic mocked him with the "that's all folks" GIF after the Warriors were eliminated from playoff contention earlier this month.

Naturally, Green had to respond after the Timberwolves swept the Suns in the first round.

"Unfortunately, that is all, folks," Green said on "The Draymond Green Show" on Monday. "You know, you've got to be really careful when you're not that successful and you try to take jabs at people. When you don't play a large enough role in your team's success [and] when you can't really affect the outcome of the game. Like, you can have 20 rebounds and lose a game. When you really don't affect the outcome of the game, it's really tough to take jabs at people because you got a jab in there and, like, you can't affect what your end result is. So, yeah. The big softie bowed out."

The animus between the two players intensified after Green was suspended indefinitely for clocking Nurkic in the face last December. In the aftermath of the incident, Nurkic said, "That brother needs help" about Green, who would respond by calling the Suns big man "a coward."

On Monday, Green would also poke fun at Nurkic's 3-17 record in the postseason which makes him the player with the worst winning percentage (.150) by any player with at least 20 games.

"Draymond Khomeini" should be the new face of the pettiness intensifies meme.
